KCC Youth Workshop

The KCC Youth Workshop is a school holiday program designed to engage Korean-Australian youth in meaningful learning and dialogue. Through discussions on a range of social and global issues, along with hands-on activities, participants gain insight, critical thinking skills, and a deeper understanding of their role in society.

This program reflects KCC’s core mission to:
• Maintain and develop Korean traditional cultural heritage
• Educate and nurture next-generation leadership
• Advocate for and protect the Korean community in Australia.

Community Events

KCC Screen for Justice

KCC screens powerful films with the aim of reflecting on and taking action together around various social justice issues. The films we present are more than just entertainment—they are windows into silenced voices, hidden truths, and the realities we must confront.

Following each screening, we host a range of engagement programs such as audience discussions (GV), expert talks, and community forums. These sessions provide space to share thoughts and explore paths toward meaningful action.

KCC Forums

KCC hosts inspiring talks by distinguished speakers whenever the opportunity arises, offering our community meaningful insights into social justice and a space to learn, connect and be inspired.

Project

Korean Publications Digital Archive

This is a project that collects regular publications (newspapers) containing the history of the Korean community in Sydney, which may be at risk of being lost, and preserves them in digital files for permanent storage. Once this project is completed, anyone will be able to look back at the documented facts of the Korean community’s history in Sydney from the past 50-60 years, and these materials will be invaluable for future research on the history of the Korean community.

Hiking Club

We are a hiking club with a passion for outdoor adventure in spectacular natural areas around Sydney, Australia and beyond, gathering once a month to walk down Sydney’s mountains and shore trails, through forests, valleys, and beaches.

This not only brings us close to nature, keeps our bodies and minds healthy, but also allows us to build good friendships with like-minded people. We welcome both members and non-members, and new faces who love nature and hiking are always welcome.

Happy Hiking!

Butterfly Book Club

Through thoughtful reading and open dialogue, we gain new perspectives and deeper insight into the world.
